MedShare Volunteer Day
Saturday, February 25th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Last August, SEMDA organized a group of members to volunteer for a few hours at Atlanta-based MedShare -- we all had a wonderful time.  We are looking for 20 volunteers to dedicate a few hours for the next SEMDA volunteer day scheduled for February 25th.  Round up a group of colleagues and/or family members and join us!

MedShare collects life-saving supplies and equipment from hospitals, medical distribution companies and individuals, and then redistributes them to qualified healthcare facilities in the developing world.  MedShare relies on volunteers like you to help sort and prepare medical supplies for shipping to institutions in developing nations that desperately need them.

SEMDA volunteers and their family members can help MedShare in its mission to give medical supplies a second life that saves lives! Here's a video of one volunteer groups life-changing experience.
